We have been able to help many women experiencing a crisis of some type. Here are a few examples of who we have assisted:
A single mother diagnosed with breast cancer who received a double mastectomy needed help during her recovery. Blessings provided a small monetary award and purchased food for three months.
A single mother escaping an abusive relationship needed help with clothing, food, and a place to live. Blessings gave a gift certificate to shop in the store for clothing, purchased food for two months, and helped her find a safe apartment for her and her child.
A woman laid off from a company where she had been employed for 10 years. Three months later her son needed major surgery. With high medical bills, she tries to get cleaning jobs as much as possible. Blessings provided her with a gift certificate to shop in the store and purchased food for a month.A single mother is self employed and business is very slow. She was forced to short sell her house to get out from under a mortgage she could no longer afford. Blessings provided her with a gift certificate to the store and three months of food.
